First, we carefully assess the location where the socket will be installed, ensuring it’s suitable and meets all safety regulations. We plan the wiring route, taking into account the nearest power source and avoiding any potential hazards.
Preparing a safe environment
Next, we turn off the power supply at the main circuit breaker to ensure a safe working environment. We then prepare the area by cutting out the space for the socket box, making sure it’s level and securely fitted to the wall.
Connection
With the area prepped, we connect the wiring to the socket terminals. We double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and comply with electrical standards.
Testing and commissioning
The installation is thoroughly tested, including load tests and safety feature checks, to confirm the charging unit operates correctly and complies with all regulations.
Recessed installation
Recessed sockets are installed flush with the wall, creating a clean and seamless look that minimizes protrusion.
